December 6th
Every year on December 6th, Nic's birthday, we go to a new city and hand out shoes, socks, and gloves to the homeless on the streets. The map above shows where we've handed out shoes to the homeless. We determine the city based on the NFL schedule. Our goal is to see all the stadiums and hopefully see the Minnesota Vikings.

To date, we've given out more than 5,300 pairs of shoes. Each year we've been able to give out more shoes because of all the amazing donations! Thank you!

My 27 year old son had been homeless in San Francisco for three years. We sometimes go months without hearing from him and I just got a call and he was so excited to tell me about the new shoes he got from your organization. The note that came with the shoes was what he was most excited to share with me. What blessing it was to hear his voice and his excitement. He knew I would appreciate that this organization was run by a mom in honor of her son.
Austin is an outgoing , full of personality guy , but has struggled with mental health and substance abuse since he was in high school. He ended up in California on the streets and I haven’t seen him in person in three years. As you can imagine I pray every day that people will come into his path to show him kindness and make him feel like he matters. Your organization did that today. So from one mom to another, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Minneapolis, MN 2021
On May 14, 2021 we handed out over150 meals to homeless in Minneapolis, MN. A large group of family helped me hand out 150 meals (2 hot dogs, bag of chips, orange, macaroni salad, cupcake, pop & bottles of water and G-rated joke and message with a bag of candy) and 138 pairs of shoes and socks.

We handed out about 75 lunches and a pair of Bombas socks to homeless in Winchester, VA and provided another 75 lunch supplies to Rescue Mission.

Little Caesars of Woodbury, MN provided 40 pizzas and my wonderful family handed them out to the homeless in the Twin Cities, MN along with a pair of Bombas socks and some shoes!

On May 14, 2019 we handed out over 200 meals to homeless at the CCAP in Winchester, VA. Once again each lunch included 2 hot dogs, bag of chips, orange, granola bar, 2 bottles of water and handwritten inspirational note.

We provided shoes, socks, winter hat and gloves to the homeless Veterans. All items were put in a Love to NIC drawstring bag and the VA staff handed them out due to COVID-19.
